Crosby was posted on Facebook in late October 2018. He was listed as FIV+ and having a caretaker who would take care of him each night.

Many commented on the post but two people stepped up saying they were willing to receive him if a transport could be arranged – one in South Carolina and one in Tennessee.

On November 17, 2018 Crosby began an epic 15 hour journey to Nashville, TN via a volunteer transport. He arrived on our doorstep Sunday November 18, 2018. Crosby was put in a crate with a bed and litter box immediately on arrival.

A year and a half later and $1600 of vetting later, Crosby is living out the rest of his years in comfort.

Update: April 2022 - Crosby, over $2000 of donated vet care later, is doing great and enjoys living out what has clearly been longer than anyone was giving him. When we passed November 27, 2021 we passed 3 years from the initial diagnosis of FIV so he's a miracle kitty beyond that point.
